About Me
I started out exploring the Wiccan path back in 1998, and haven’t looked back since. At first I studied on my own, learning from books and taking bits of what I read here and there that resonated as “for me.”
In the summer of 1999, I found a coven to circle with and learn from. Being right outside an army base, a majority of us were miltary which lent a strong “warrior” flavor to our rituals. After a few starts, stops, and turns (remember, at least half of us were active duty) I finally reached my First Degree status in September of 2001, and was officially initiated on the equinox.
After my return from Iraq in 2004, I first felt a need to immerse myself in ritual, then a need to work on my own and have been “on hiatus” for the past several years as I continue to evolve (hence the Craft name “Darwin”) search and find my way. This blog is an extension of my journey.
I am still married to the US Army, as my husband is active duty with intent to put in his “full 20″ for retirement. My son has also expressed an interest in Wicca, and often borrows my books.

I noticed you are on the Debt-Free Revolution. Well, I too am a Pagan Dave Ramsey fan, and I too wish there was something with a more wecoming Pagan approach.
I would love to be able approach our brothers and sister in our community with the message in a way of getting them out of debit, in way it would not turn them off.
I believe the Pagan community suffers from similar economic concerns as the Christian faith.
